A book of profiles and photographs honoring victims and survivors of the fentanyl crisis.

The Fentanyl Tragedy
Stories of devastating loss teach us how to prevent more loss.
One hundred and ninety Americans die daily from overdose — the equivalent of a 737 crashing every single day.
You can read that sentence, note the scale of it, and then move on with your day. Statistics let us do that.
Lives Interrupted is different. This new book puts a human face on the crisis, sharing the stories of people who were killed by fentanyl and people who have survived. The victims range from 15 months old to 64 years old, and their stories are told by the loved ones they left behind.
From the Foreword

“Through storytelling and photos, Lives Interrupted: The Fentanyl Tragedy features heart-wrenching profiles that will educate, inform, and empower leaders in government, finance, health sciences, and academia to root out the global pipeline that’s stolen a generation of America’s sons and daughters in the prime of their lives.”
Senator Chuck Grassley
From the Editor

“We believe that by hearing the stories of these victims and survivors, you will carry something of them forward with you, and perhaps feel moved to act. Their lives were interrupted. The story does not have to end there.”
Ben Westhoff, Editor
